MY DREAM
You are never given a dream without being given the power to make it true.

In this world we must help one another.

Why has God given disabled people their disabilities? What do I not understand about God’s plans? These ancient questions have let me on a quest to look for a philosophy that would allow me to understand this. Even in the world of today there are many disabled people who don’t have a safe place to live, work, socialize or interact with other human beings. It is my goal to address this problem: to create a live/work education and social center for people with disabilities. This would be a haven where differently abled people can find housing suitable for assisted living, develop there vocational interests through job training and education, have meaningful work, and a rich social life, both with other disabled people as well as with the extended outside community. My ultimate vision is to be an ambassador of hope and happiness by facilitating opportunities for disabled people to share the same human contacts and experiences that other people share. It is only through this mutual exchange that the true gifts of all human beings can be known and appreciated. This would also be a protected and safe space for them to live, a place where they share something special in common with the other residents of their center. Through active prayer demonstrated by service I may come to know the answers to my questions. Why has God given disabled people their disabilities? What do I not understand about God’s plans?
I long to accomplish a great and noble task, but it is my chief duty to accomplish small tasks as if they were great and noble.

There are only two ways to live your life: One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.
