1. Development of appropriate course content and sequences, suggested curricula, and texts in order to implement class instruction.
2. Design certification paths , and develop degree requirements.
3. Evaluation of current capabilities.
4. Cost estimates to upgrade computer systems and software.
5. Cost estimates to construct a new computer lab (Cisco, Sun Microsystems, Microsoft, Novell, Oracle, A+, Network+, etc).

1. Plan, manage, design, implement and support the campus/site-wide network.
2. Select and evaluate computer and computer-related hardware and software.
3. Develop and implement budget, bid proposals and operating policies, procedures and objectives for information technology and information systems expenditures; review and approve the expenditure of funds.
4. Identify the technology needs of a business and advise the management and staff on ways technology supports and complements strategic decisions and the direction of the organization to achieve its mission, and provide direction in meeting these needs.
5. Develop and implement on-going user-training programs.
6. Develop and maintain the architecture, security standards and recovery capabilities for all technology platforms to meet the current and future requirements of the applications as used by the business
7. Implement and enforce IT Security and Operational policies and procedures that incorporate best practices and meet current standards and compliance requirements.
